Glimpses of Rajasthan Film Festival 2024

The 12th edition of the Rajasthan Film Festival was a momentous occasion, showcasing the growing significance of regional cinema. Held on 28th September 2024, this grand celebration of regional cinema was a resounding success.
The day began with a press conference and a panel discussion, in which topics including regional cinema’s future, international recognition, and OTT platform were discussed. Actor Arbaaz Khan, Actor Smita Bansal, OTT platform Stage’s producers and nominated artists representing their region participated.
The night of Rajasthan Film Festival was hosted by Arbaaz Khan, Smita Bansal and Mahendra Gaur. This year, 13 movies of 10 languages from 9 states were nominated in the other regional category while 5 movies were nominated in the Rajasthani cinema category.
Puneet Issar, renowned actor graced the event. The Lifetime Achievement Award of the RFF 2024 was conferred upon Ustad Ahmed Hussain and Ustad Mohammed Hussain.
Apart from the awards, the audience was immersed in a vibrant celebration of Rajasthani culture and language, thanks to captivating performances by Folk Singer Kheta Khan, Sawai Bhatt, Ajit Singh Tanwar, Muskan Sharma, and Nehashree.
The festival’s core purpose was to honor and express gratitude to those who have made remarkable contributions to the cinematic landscape of Rajasthan. Attam won the best movie award of the night and in Rajasthani Cinema, Bhawani took the title home.
